Step 1

First log on to google adwords. You should see a screen like this. Click on the "Create a campaign: site-targeted" link.

Step 2

After providing other specific details about your campaign, you will be taken to the "identify sites" screen. Select "List URLs", and type the URL "www.slideshare.net" into the large text field in the center of the screen. Then press the "Get Available Sites" button.

Step 3

Select the entire site, or the specific placement that you would like your ad to appear in. As you select it, it will appear in the "selected sites" list on the top right of the page.

Step 4

You'll have to set a budget and a maximum CPM for your advertising campaign. Your ad is unlikely to appear unless you select of CPM of at least $2.00, although this can also be effected by what geographical area you are targeting. Experiment with the ad formats and various CPMs to find a campaign that fits your needs and budget.
